Grandmaster Kwok will be teaching Chi Sau in London

11th June 2011 1pm -6pm Putney Leisure Centre

Following on from the success of last years event Sam will be in London for an extra hour this year focusing on Chi Sau sometimes spelled Chi Sao. Beginners and advanced students all welcome.

Topics

The seminar will cover both beginner and advanced topics relating to Chi Sau and have a Q&A session at the end where all participants will have a chance to ask Sam Kwok questions. Please think about questions you may want to ask before the seminar for the Q&A session.

Want to improve your Chi Sau, reflexes sensitivity, positions and learn good techniques? Maybe you want to learn how Chi Sau relates to fighting? If so this is the seminar for you! You will gain speed and power and more.

Sam will also be autographing books at the end of the session.There will also be number of Sam's instructors from the association there to share their knowledge. Although the focus is on Chi Sau over 5 hours Sam will likely cover other areas related to fighting, defense and entry techniques as this all stems form Chi Sau.

Price

The Seminar will be £40 for the general public and £35 for members of the Samuel Kwok Martial arts association. It will last 5 hours. There will be two breaks during the 5 hours. The price will also include a free footage of the seminar that will be sent to you for download after the event covering the highlights. This will be an hour or so long usually.

How to join in

If you are keen to learn the Wing Chun Sam Kwok will be teaching you are welcome to come along whoever you train with. Places are limited so make sure you book early to avoid disappointment. You can book on-line using a credit or debit card or PayPal any time before the event. Refunds can be issued if you change your mind until May the 21st. I have reserved a place for all the students at my club (Southfield and Putney Wing Chun) who have said they want to come combined with the other paid booking so far, 50 of the 70 places have been booked (last updated on the 4th of May 2011). NOTE I have got the biggest hall in the Sports Centre to give us some extra room. Please book up soon so you don't miss out.

Directions To the London Seminar

By Tube

Get off at East Putney tube station. This is on the district line (thats the green one). Turn left as you leave the station. Walk for about 5 mins until you come to some cross roads with Foxtons on your right and two pubs across the road (the Fox pub and a Weather spoons). Cross the road to Foxtons then cross over to the Weather spoons and keep walking straight ahead down Upper Richmond Road. Walk along this road for about 6mins and you will see a road off to the right called Dryburg Road turn down here and the Leisure Centre where we hold our self defence classes is immediately on your left. By Train

Get off at Putney rail station. Turn left as you leave the station. Then cross over the road right to the Weather spoons pub and keep walking straight ahead down Upper Richmond Road. Walk along this road for about 6mins and you will see a road off to the right called Dryburg Road turn down here and the Leisure Centre is immediately on your left.
