Grandmaster Samuel Kwok will go to Indonesia
Grandmaster Samuel Kwok will go to Indonesia to personally teach Wing Chun to Deddy Corbuzier, a famous Mentalist/Magician in Asia. The hope is to help spread the art to the Indonesian public.
Corbuzier Deddy is a "master mentalist", and is pleased to announce Grandmaster Samuel Kwok (author of Mastering Wing Chun series) will be coming to Indonesia. In June Corbuziur will be joining the Samuel Kwok Wing Chun Martial Art Association to help spread Traditional Ip Man Wing Chun Kung Fu.
In 2008 Ip Man, the first of two films, was released. These films tell the story Ip Man who was one of the first to openly teach Wing Chun to the public. The first movie was a huge box office success and was nominated for several awards. Ip Man 2 is currently circulating in cinemas in Asia now. Not only is Ip Man a legendary figure in Wing Chun he was also the first teacher of the famous Bruce Lee.
Ip Ching and Ip Chun are both sons of Ip Man and have passed on their Wing Chun to Samuel Kwok. To be able to train with either Ip Ching or Ip Chun would be considered an honor to any Wing Chun student and Samuel Kwok has had the priviledge of training with both of them. Grandmaster Samuel Kwok has agreed to come and teach Deddy Wing Chun personally and to work together to spread Traditional Ip Man Wing Chun throughout Indonesia.
Grandmaster Samuel Kwok will be in Indonesia from June 17th through July 1st.
